InVogue Brush Works Powder Brush, Emery Boards & Cuticle Cutters Review *

When it comes to a beauty routine, the tools you use can be one of the most important aspects to think about and I am always on the lookout for new tools to use. So when I was offered the opportunity to try a few items from the new Brush Works line from Invogue I jumped at the chance. The Brush Works collection is made up of everyday essentials that are all priced between £1.49 - £6.99, which means that they are affordable for everyone.

1. Powder Brush * (£6.99) One of the main things I love about synthetic brushes is how soft they are, and this powder brush genuinely has to be one of the softest I have ever felt. Made of Taklon bristles, it is the perfect brush for applying face products. Personally I find it is best used for applying my setting powder or for applying a light dusting of highlighter or bronzer over my face. I have used this for applying blush but I've never been a huge fan of using synthetic brushes for blush, and this brush is no different. At £6.85 this is a great brush for younger makeup lovers are simply anybody who is on a budget.

2. Professional Emery Boards * (£2.49) I have long nails that are constantly chipping due to working in a supermarket so I am always using emery boards. These emery boards (they come in a twin pack) work really well and are a great size for carrying in my bag.

3. Cuticle Nippers * (£6.99) I'll admit that out of the three items I was sent, this is one that I probably won't use all that often. When it comes to my nails, beyond filing and painting and I don't do too much to them myself, and tend to leave the cuticle cutting to the professionals. It has been a while since I've last had my nails done so I did decide to try cutting my own cuticles using these, and while they are easy to use I think I will be continuing to mostly leave it to the professionals. However I will still be getting use out of these as I unfortunately get hangnails quite often so these will be handy for sorting those out.

I definitely love all of these items and I can't wait to try more from the Brush Works collection, especially the brushes! There are so many other products in the collection including tweezers, foot files and brush guards. My favourite aspect of this collection is definitely how reasonably priced everything is, while still giving a great result.
