Tag: The Christmas Tag

Hello lovelies! I am currently sat up watching Fred Claus and drinking coffee from my new snowman mug which has resulted in me being in a very Christmasy mood! Therefore I have decided to do a Christmas tag which I saw over at Confessions of a Secret Shopper.

New Years Outfit 001

So with less than 3 weeks to New Years, it is time to start thinking about what you will be wearing to ring in the new year. Over the next few weeks I will be making a series of Outifit guides to cover all of the different ways you can celebrate the end of 2013, and the beginning of 2014! First up... celebrating in a night club or at a fancy party!

Review: Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream

I'm sure everyone in the beauty community has heard of Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream by now, even if they haven't tried it. It was created in 1930 by Elizabeth Arden who used it to treat her horses before she realised that it was also very effective on people. After a customer claimed that it helped heal her son's scraped knee in 8 hours, Elizabeth Arden gave it the name it is known by today! If you have seen my October Favourites, then you will already know that I love this product. I had seen this product featured on blogs, Youtube videos and magazines for ages but never actually got around to buying it. Then I saw it on offer during the Summer and thought it was the perfect time to try it!

Mini Haul: ASOS & Yankee Candle

Recently I've been trying very hard not to spend too much money on shopping, due to my extremely long wish-list that I need to save for. Unfortunately, with Christmas just around the corner, all of the shops are putting on amazing deals and savings, which at times I'm finding rather hard to resist. So I thought I would share with you all just a few of the items I have bought over the last week! The first 2 items I bought were from ASOS. I wasn't going to buy anything, and I even tweeted about how I was attempting to resist the urge, but ASOS replied with a link to their 30% off promotion, and in that moment, my self-control went out the window.

Review: YSL Pure Chromatics #3

I bought this 'YSL Pure Chromatics 4 Wet Dry Eyeshadows' palette in #3 ages ago, but I never really used it. Instead it just sat in my makeup unit, while I reached for my Naked Palette and MAC eyeshadows. However recently I decided to challenge myself to reach for my more unused makeup items, and as it turns out, I have a lot of them.

Gift Guide: Stocking Fillers (Under £20)

I love receiving stocking filler presents on Christmas day. My stocking always involved a lot of random items from silly little games to chocolate coins, and it is a great way to start off Christmas Day! So for my third and final Christmas gift guide, I will be sharing some ideas with you for stocking fillers. All of these gifts are £20 or under, so they would also be great ideas for Secret Santas (if they have small limits) or if you simply can't afford to spend too much on presents (just remember... it's the thought that counts, not the price, so don't break the bank).

Christmas Gift Guide: For Him

If you are anything like me, you struggle to buy Christmas gifts for men. I don't know why I find them so hard to buy for, but I do. So I decided that I would try and help any one else out there who also has this problem. Ranging from affordable to expensive, here are six gifts that most men would probably be pretty happy to unwrap on Christmas day! Of course if all else fails, you can always give them a gift card for their favourite shop so they can buy exactly what they like!

Christmas Gift Guide: For Her

Hello lovelies, and welcome to the first part of my Christmas guide series! This Christmas guide is going to be for what to buy any women in your lives: girlfriends, mothers, sisters, daughters or friends. Heck, even yourself... after all who better to treat than yourself?

#Instalife 001

So for a while now I have been looking to start lifestyle posts. One of the reasons I actually started this blog was so that I could talk about my life and hopefully make a few friends on the way! Unfortunately my life has been fairly boring lately and therefore does not warrant me writing about it, so instead I thought I would share some of my instagram pictures with you all! I love instagram and while I am not obsessed with it, I do take quite a few photos. So here are my recent pictures, and a little explanation for each one!

Review: Philip Kingsley Elasticizer

A few months ago InStyle magazine included a 40ml tube of Philip Kingsley 'Elasticizer' (worth £8) in their October issue. I love getting freebies with magazines so despite rarely reading InStyle, and not knowing anything about this product, I decided to buy it.

My Current Loves... #001

Hello! So today I thought I would start a new series of posts here on the blog: 'My Current Loves'. I really enjoy reading similar monthly favourites on other blogs as I find it is where I discover most of my new products! So as a beauty-obsessed blogger I decided I would join in and share my monthly recommendations. I will be trying to feature different products every month but forgive me if I repeat every now and then- some products are just that good!

Project 10 Pan: Update 01

Hey guys, so if you have been reading my blog you might know that I recently started Project 10 Pan after I decided that my makeup collection needed a clear out. As it has been over a month since I started it, I thought it was time to give you guys a little update.

TAG: Sweater Weather Tag

Has it really been 3 weeks since my last blog post? Unfortunately the answer to that is yes. I've been so busy these past few weeks and any time I haven't spent at home working, I've spent in Belfast which has resulted in me neglecting this blog. But I'm back and will be focusing more on my blog! Now that the explanation for my absence is out of the way lets get onto the tag...
THE SWEATER WEATHER TAG
Autumn is my favourite season. I love the colours, the scents and the crisp, cold mornings. So when I saw this tag on Youtube I thought it would be perfect to do!

Face of the Day #001

Lately I have been quite lazy with my makeup during the day. All I have really been wearing is a bit of tinted moisturiser, powder, mascara, blusher and lipstick. However today when I woke up I decided I wanted to put a bit more effort into my makeup. I wasn't going anywhere special (infact I took a trip to the shops just so my effort wasn't wasted), I just decided I wanted to go back to wearing full makeup. So I decided I would do a FOTD post to show you what I was using.

Tag: Five Product Makeup Challenge

Hello everyone. This morning I was getting ready and when it came to my makeup I decided I wasn't in the mood to spend too long on it. I remembered seeing this five product makeup challenge on Sunday's Grace and I thought it would be a perfect excuse for me to put very little makeup on. Basically the idea of the challenge is to do your makeup using only five products. Until this challenge I always thought that my daily makeup routine was fairly simple and involved very few products but it turns out I was mistaken!

Beauty Wish list #01

If you have read my Project 10 Pan post, you will know that I am currently on a beauty product ban. Before I started this project I was buying very few products anyway so I thought I would be able to deal with buying none at all however from the minute I started I have been looking to buy everything I have looked at or read about. However I REALLY want to do this properly, so for the time being I have been compiling a wish list of what I will buy when I am finished and I thought I may as well share this wish list with all of you! 01. No7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream: As I have mentioned before, I love my Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser but I really want to try something new and this is at the top of my list. My friend uses this so I have tried it a few times already and so far I have loved it.

Project 10 Pan

I've been saying for a while now that I need to start clearing out some of my makeup. I don't have a huge collection compared to a lot of beauty bloggers and youtubers, however in relation to everybody I know my collection is big. I started by clearing out my expired makeup (It's crazy how many items I never used because I knew they had expired but I never got rid of) but I still have a lot of makeup. So my next step is Project 10 Pan

For anyone who doesn't know, Project 10 Pan involves choosing 10 beauty related items, and not purchasing anything new until you have used them all up. Now I will still be buying essentials. For example I only own one powder at a time and it is nearly finished so I will be repurchasing that. However I will not be buying any new eyeshadows, mascaras or any other type of makeup product that are not necessary.

Thrifty Purchase

So a couple of days ago I went shopping with my mum and my aunty and I made my first clothing purchase from a charity shop. Now I look in charity shops quite often. I love coming out with a bag full of books that I paid 50p each for, and I always take a look at what furniture they have in, but clothes? Never. I don't have the patience to look through rack upon rack of clothes that are either far too big or that belong in the 80s (not an era I can pull off), so when this green coat caught my eye my first instinct was to walk on.
