As some of you may know, I bought my first DSLR this year. For the past few months I have been trying to get to grips with my new camera (Canon 700d if you're interested) and trying to improve my photography. So when I saw that the wonderful Caitlin from Through the Mirror had started a Bloggers Photography Club, I knew I had to join.

The Bloggers Photography Club is exactly what it sounds like... a photography club for bloggers. Every two weeks we are given a new topic (which we have previously voted on) that we then have to take a photograph of before uploading it to the flickr group. There have been a variety of topics from water, to black and white, and most recently blog photos.

Being part of the group also means we are part of a private twitter chat where we can speak to each other for support and guidance, and where we can verify any questions we might have about the topics.

The best part about this group is that you don't have to be at a certain skill level to take part. You can take part whether you are a professional or a beginner, and whether you use an iPhone or a DSLR.

If you wish to find out more, or you would like to join (which I would highly suggest doing!), then read the original post over on Through the Mirror.
