We where all given the choice over wether we wanted a secret swap, a UK-UK non-secret swap or an international swap. I didn't have to think about it too much and knew straight away that I wanted an international swap as I loved the idea of trying new products that weren't available here in the UK.
I was paired with the lovely Shree from Porcelain Shree and after swapping a few emails discussing what we would like, we sent each other our presents!
The first item Shree got me was the Cover Girl Lash Blast Clump Crusher mascara. I love trying new mascaras, and I have read many good reviews for this particular one so I was really excited to receive it! And since I have now came to end of my stash of open mascaras I can open it and try it out tomorrow!
Next she sent me these two GORGEOUS Cover Girl Lip Perfection lipsticks. The first is shade 395 'Darling Cherie'. I haven't wore this lipstick yet, but it is a neutral pink that would look great for a daytime look, or with a more dramatic eye. I have also read a review which mentions that it works great as a cream blush, so I'm looking forward to trying that out.
The second lipstick is 300 'Flame Flamme'. I wore this lipstick out to a concert on Monday night and I have to say... I AM IN LOVE! This lipstick is perfect. Unfortunately there are no pictures as I was in a rush and couldn't take a proper picture, but I will definitely be doing a review soon. It is a gorgeous pinky toned red and works really well with my pale skin tone.
Finally, I got the Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda Concealer Palette. This is a concealer palette that I have been looking to try for ages, ever since I hear FleurDeForce talk about it in her youtube videos. So far I have only used this on my under eye circles (which have been terrible recently) and this has worked great! Again I will be doing a review when I have been using it for longer!
Thanks again to Shree for these gifts, I love them!
Also apologies for the lack of swatches. The pictures of the swatches where taken after I had uploaded these pictures, and guess who has now went and lost her cameras memory card? (I'll give you a hint... her name begins with 'L').
I'm glad you enjoyed your gift! I posted on my post about my gifts that I didn't know if *I* even did the Secret Santa right because we totally knew who we were paired up with?! But it was so much fun and definitely I want to do again next year!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your future posts in the new year! :)
