My Final University Formal!

Last Wednesday I attended my final University formal with my friends. You might be wondering why I was attending a University Formal despite being graduated, but basically I might not be attending classes anymore, but I still attend a lot of the social events as my friends are all currently in their final year. So for today's post, I thought I would share some of my pictures from the Formal!

Just a quick note... all of these photos where taken on phones, so they aren't the best quality, but they still have captured the night, and are therefore good enough to be shared with all of you! Also this is going to be a picture-heavy post, so prepare yourselves!

Before going to the Formal, which was held in the Wellington Park Hotel in Belfast, 7 of us (6 girls, and 1 guy) got ready at the house. I have to say, having 6 girls getting ready in one house for a formal... not easy. Makeup and hair products where everywhere, and we could just about move, but it was definitely the best way to start the night.

Laura and Rosie had bought a bottle of bubbly for the night, so after we where all ready, they cracked it open so we could get the party started!

Then with the drinks flowing, we posed for plenty of photos before our taxies arrived!

After pictures, we got in our taxis to the Wellington where the Formal was being held. We were lucky enough to have a full table of close friends which meant that we had great fun at the dinner! The 3 course dinner was lovely, though I wasn't to fond of the dessert which consisted of a profiterole, a some coffee cake, and some chocolate cake. There are no pictures of the food (we where all too hungry for that kind of carry on) but there are some pics of us at the dinner!

After dinner, we all danced, socialised and had a glass (or 5) of wine, and the pictures pretty much stopped. The night was brilliant, and it was great to see everyone before everybody heads off on their 6 week placements next week! Waking up the next morning at 8am for work however... not so fun. How I made it through a 7 hour shift I will never know!

If any of you are wondering, my dress is from Little Mistress and my earrings from H&M. They are not pictured, but my shoes were from Topshop, and my clutch, rings and earrings were all from New Look
